Roanoke City Public Schools Student Systems Status

Students may be experiencing an issue with a recent ChromeOS LTS version 144.0.7559.257 that prevents Core5, PowerUp, and Lexia English from operating properly on affected devices. The recommended resolution is a minor update to ChromeOS version 144.0.7559.258 or a later version. This update includes a fix that has resolved the issue for devices that have been updated.

We are investigating an issue where Microsoft's PowerPoint web viewer fails to load slide previews on the Digital Platform. This issue may impact users attempting to view content that includes PowerPoint presentations. As a workaround, users can still download PowerPoint files from the Digital Platform and open them directly on their device. Our team is actively investigating the issue and working to restore normal functionality. We will provide additional updates as more information becomes available.
